This will be discussed with you after your initial assessment and is considered on a case by case basis.

We treat children aged 5 and over.
How do I book an appointment?
Follow the link on the website for the online booking system and simply select any appointment time that suits you. Alternatively you can call us on 01895 717535
What should I wear?
To allow optimal assessment we need to be able to see the area that we are treating. For lower limb problems bringing a pair of shorts to change into will be sufficient. For upper limb a strappy top for females is ideal. For low back pain you may need to remove your top to under wear.
What if I require further scans or consultant orthopaedic assessment?
We have strong links with local consultants – both NHS and private – if onward referral is necessary. We can recommend private scanning facilities if required.
Do I need to see a doctor first?
No, you can access physiotherapy as your first line of treatment. However, if you plan to claim on medical insurance you will need to consult your insurance company first who can advise you. We will require a pre-authorisation number prior to treatment.
Can I use Private Medical Insurance?
We are registered with the majority of insurance companies. You may need to get a pre-authorisation number. If you are unsure please contact your insurance company. Please check your policy as an excess may be payable.
What kinds of treatment do you offer?
We employ a combination of hands-on treatments – including soft tissue manipulation, sports massage, myofascial release techniques, joint mobilisation and manipulation – with acupuncture, ultrasound and stretching techniques.
On top of this we will provide a tailored exercise programme for movement correction and reconditioning. This is aimed at getting you over the initial complaint and then restoring full capabilities to prevent any future reoccurrence.
Are there other appointment times?
Yes. If you can’t make any of the appointment times on the website, please call us and we will try to accommodate you.
We are happy to be able to welcome patients back for face to face physiotherapy consultations. To keep you and our staff as safe as possible we have introduced some new processes and measures.
